With over 10 years experience working as a professional tourguide in South America, Marco Antonio Rengifo Maytahuari took the initiative to start his own travel agency in 2011. The company was founded ‘Blue Butterfly adventures’. Seven years later, Marco moved to the iconic ‘Kinderdijk’ area in The Netherlands. Driven by the beauty of his living place and the growing numbers of touristic visitors, Marco took a next step and started an Instagram page named Travel Kinderdijk. Since 2018, this page has raised interest of many people worldwide. The whole idea started with one photo, taken by mobile phone. Since then, many photos and video’s have followed.
Noticing a growing popularity of the Kinderdijk location on social media,the idea was born to start a touristic guiding service, combining some real local experiences with new perspectives. Showing just a bit more of the beautiful surroundings of the famous UNESCO windmills. The view behind the photo´s… Combined with a personal guiding service, with a special warm welcome for Spanish-speaking and English-speaking visitors. Of course, we also can guide in Dutch.
